Black lives matter real estate forum/blmref Fund I, LLc
In 2021, Black Lives Matter Real Estate Forum, LLC. (the "Forum") plans to raise $25 million from Black and Hispanic people to invest with Black and Hispanic real estate developers in Black and Hispanic communities across America (including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands).
The Forum is a social impact advisory firm that sponsors private equity real estate funds (i.e.: BLMREF Fund I, LLC.), utilizing Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Reg. D, Reg. CF, and Reg. A+ exemptions.
On January 5, 2021, the Forum established BLMREF Fund I, LLC (the "Fund") as a social impact private equity real estate fund to raise capital from accredited investors.
The Fund will invest in small-to-midsize multi-family property developments in Black and Hispanic communities that display favorable rental markets, employment, and population growth.
The Forum will NOT just launch private equity real estate funds BUT also advocate for economic policies that build wealth and create jobs for Black and Hispanic people.
The Forum will build a national advisory board of professionals and business owners (see Founding Advisory Board), host real estate panels, publish policy papers, meet with government officials and political candidates, and much more.
The Fund will NOT invest in commercial real estate development opportunities that require the displacement of residential tenants.
$1,000 is the minimum amount to invest in the Fund (all racial groups are encouraged to invest).
Real estate is one of the most reliable strategies to build multi-generational wealth; it’s an ongoing source of passive income.
Real estate provides the highest returns, the greatest values, and the least risk.
Street protests are a great way to bring attention to economic, social, and political injustices but the Forum believes that building wealth and creating jobs are key to creating a more just society in America.
